On Friday November 14th, the TesLA Alliance (Test Lab Automation) held its first quarterly alliance meeting at the Ixia iSimCity facilities in Santa Clara, CA. The all day affair was a huge success. The event was extremely well attended by ensemble list including people from the member organizations, Customer Advisory Board and potential member organizations. Attendees were:

Some of the key highlights from the meeting are noted below:
  • The salient features of the Bylaws and IP policies of the Alliance were presented and discussed.

  • All the milestones achieved in the short span of time since the inception of the Alliance were presented and next steps were discussed.

  • The Customer Advisory Board (CAB) was in full attendance showing solidarity for the alliance and they gave invaluable feedback and input to the Alliance going ahead.

  • The Alliance did a successful live demonstration of TesLA Framework. The demo showed the TesLA composer controlling Shunra appliance along with Ixia and Apcon plug-ins at the same time.

  • The Alliance unveiled TesLA composer SDK and presented the TesLA plug-in components, the process for building a plug-in and the contents required of a plug-in.

  • The alliance took another step forward in the meeting by finalizing on the chair's of key committees such as the SDK committee, Marketing & Member committee, Finance & Accounting committee and Commercial Strategy & Certification committees. These committees will be responsible for strategizing and implementing steps towards their goals to further benefit TesLA in their respective areas.
